Hi!  I'm Mark.  I like to write.  Here I am laboriously plunking away at my craft in hopes of making some kind of positive contribution to your world and/or the world.

I also live in Alaska.  Here's me floating in a glacially fed lagoon, my preferred place of inspiration.

You should also know I'm a really good rock skipper.  If we skip rocks, I will probably beat you.  No offense.  We can still be friends.  In fact, if this blog fails, my back up plan is to teach rock skipping seminars.  They will rock.

I also really like milk, in fact most things dairy.  One of my worst fears might be becoming lactose intolerant.  Here's me bench pressing some milk.  I don't know why I'm bench pressing milk.  To milk those final reps?
